organization is essential to success

I have found one of the keys from the key chain of success ! Being organized is crutical to being successful. It helps keep track of all of your important documents. It helps with remembering important dates,times, and events. Without organization, I do not think i would make it!! :)

Sociology- What i have learned so far this year..

another week at old dominion

This begins week four as an old dominion full time college student. --first year 2013 grad.
Another home game this weekend , lets go o.d.u. ! :)

home vs campus

I want to go home... well right now , anyway
I have everything i need and want at home.
I have to get everything i need and want on campus.
Dorm freedom is fine and dandy, but im starting to miss my baby brothers and my little sister...even tho when i was home they irritated me sometimes lol
Living conditions were way better at home. only thing is the parents thing. But see , parents are a good thing. They keep you on track and focused. You think twice about doing dumb stuff but on campus you have the world at your fingertips and its nothing or no one to pump your breaks. Thats not a problem, but the parents , sibblings, and conditions MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. and right now im missing them !!!!

odu parties

The odu parties are not at all "jumpn"
I dont understand why...I cant say if its the girls or the guys? mabye its just the "odu population" ..
I guess i will have to continue to attend nsu parties with my sister that attends nsu.
How do you feel ?? is it just me ...?

Recycling

Odu needs a better , more effictive recycling system! In my building its more simple to trash everything rather than having a recycling bin with each trash bin! I need them to improve. I would like to recycle but i dont see any "stations" , i couldnt tell you where a recycle bin IS in this place !!! lol seriously.
We need to work to keep the little bit of "world" that we do have !!

ODU ID

Sooooo, the other day i so lost my id !! I am a very "routine" type person so this caught me by suprise !!! I retraced all my steps and went to my class rooms to see if i dropped it. I also went to the card center to see if anyone has turned it in. And i asked the people in my dorm building if they've seen it....NOTHING. lol soooo in the end i had to purchase another id for 15 in the card center! Hopefully my old id never turns up lol because IF i find that id in my room or somthing crazy i am going to trip !! lol

kanye West !

He def lost his cool jumping on stage and rudeLY intrupting Taylor Swift's acceptance speach! Radio stations and t.v. broad cast has been talking about it for the last few days! It has been said that he called Taylor Swift and apologized and she accepted.
I think that he was very rude and immature. Its no way that anyone should have to go through that embarrassment that he caused !! And for him to be a "public figure" his actions were VERY poor .

shopping !

I can honestly say shopping is a LOVE! I enjoy buying items for myself and others I care about.. I have been considered to be a shopaholic ; A person who shops compulsively or very frequently.. I believe sometimes it can come across as a downfall because I buy without "need", nonetheless it IS enjoyable !!!

the end of my first week of college

This week has been very "diffrent" ...! I dont know where to begin. The classes are not too tough for me to handle but when you throw the social activity without the parent control in the picture, as far as telling when and where you can go and how late to be out, things get crazy. Not too crazy, but just enough. augh.

Birthday Eve

TODAY , september 2nd 2009 is my 18th "birthday eve" ! I will be celebrating all weekend;Thurs-Sunday !!
